Message from this number left on my voicemail Mon 8th June 2020. Claimed to be from HMRC, and that I should not ignore message, as I would face legal proceedings. Nonsense!

Phone rang- didn’t answer it as it’s not in my contact list. They left no message. Their loss!
It seems to be the start of the open pest phone calls season - I haven t answered the phone for 3 years now and have a peaceful life - except for the phone ringing. Why does the government not make this constant harassment illegal? Freedom of speech is OK to a certain extent as we have seen in recent years religious pests but surely the recipient is entitled to a quite life.
