Called at 6.49 am. As the number was unrecognised I allowed it to go to the answering machine. The call was terminated immediately and no message was left.

Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!

They said that they from SSE wanted a metre reading when i replied that you where through to the local police, which department you require. They soon hung up.
