I think this is a number that is being used in a scam involving Amazon fake orders. I received an email supposedly from Amazon that someone had ordered a computer with my account. The number was a call back number and I informed the male caller I thought he was a scammer and he insisted he wasn't. However, I insisted he was and he hung up. I was asked to go to a store and buy a blocking card where's my legitimate debit card. because I have never heard of such a thing I definitely did not go along with it.
They told us they were from talktalk and someone had hacked our account!?

automated voice telling me it was a call from HMRC, telling me there was a warrant out for my arrest and to press 1 on the keypad to be connected to an operator. i did not press any buttons and the call hung up after about 30 seconds.
Utter rubbish. They notified me that I had a criminal case against me for TAX evasion and TAX fraud......complete nonsense...
