This number rang me but when i rang back it said no one available to take my call. Just wondering if anyone knows who it is tia.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. Junk callers from Cardiff (029 area code). Phone did not ring because this number is already blocked by the BT Blacklist (BT Call Protect for landlines). They rang me on a simil...

They said it was sky and said they were replacing my mums sky card. They also said that as a pensioner she was offered 25% discount. They knew her personal details which worries me. I do know this is not a sky number as listed on their website.

I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. I have had calls from this number, after a long conversation regarding data protection, I confirmed my address to discover it was for my previous address. The debt was from several years back that I thought was paid. This is not a scam, but people who are doing a job to get debt paid. You wouldn t walk into a shop and fill a trolley with goods and leave only paying for some of it. With debt we have either received the goods or service. Mine was for photos that I had forgot about
