Had a missed call and went to ring the number then my phone advised it is potential fraud t or to buy. Comments on other sites advise this is a scam.
They claim to be your local energy advisor. I have received 5 calls today (18/07/2023). I have phoned back, listened to the bull carp, and when put through to a human, asked for number to be taken off list. Then had another call.Automated call

"Bank Security" telling me they needed authorisation for two amounts on my credit card. One for £300 from Amazon. (It is amazing how often I seem to "pay" Amazon £300) and one for an overseas number. Another variation on an old scam. Blocked

SMS from "CityFibre" asking about broadband installation appointment. Possibly targeting elderly or vulnerable people.
Female asked politely how I was then what handset I had. Said I do not want contact and told her she is breach of Telephone Preference and Information Commissioner. She hung up. I expect many more fraudulent calls now!
Indian lady in a noisy call centre, claimed to be 'BT Technical Services'. Said that there was a problem with my internet connection. I told them to carry on fixing it and cleared-down.

SCAM Callcenter claiming to be a solicitor firm offering to add me to their group compensation claim against Mercedes and BMW for emissions defeating devices fitted to cars. I could get thousands of pounds in compensation. Same company uses many other numbers and does not honour cease and desist requests nor do they comply with the Data Protection Act and UK-GDPR requests to remove my details from their Database. please be aware of this spam. They said I had ordered a removal van and were calling to arrange one for me. It ties into several hoax calls I received last week as all the callers were sub Asians.
