They called my number asking for me by a name I haven t gone by for nearly 5 years, so I am assuming that somewhere someone / some company, has sold on their client list. I said she wasn t available and could I take a message, the scouse guy gave Chase Alexander as the company name. The same company that pretty much harassed me last year on various different landline and mobile numbers. Each time i just said I didn t know the person they called for etc.

Recorded message from "Alpine Solutions" about my car accident. Sigh. They seem to spoof lots of similar Sheffield numbers.
This call came out of the blue, saying they were from southern water who are doing surveys in m y area and wanted to come to my home to help me reduce my water bill by adding water devices. I hung up blocked number and informed Southern water.

I told her 'the managing director would not be interested in her call but thank you' and then put the phone down as we do not take cold calls. She rang straight back and spoke to another colleague saying that I was rude to hang up on her!
