at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.
SCAM Caller claimed to be from EON Next - very poor line, started to claim that they were calling regarding an issue with our post code and wanted meter details. I refused as I'd had another similar call from different number last week - which had all the hallmarks of a scam, so I hung up then and called EON Next back to verify what was going on. They had no record of any calls being made by EON Next to my company either in reference to our post code or our meter numbers. TOTAL SCAM - HANG UP !

Claimed to be Amazon. It’s the iPhone 11, 12, 13 scam. Order on hold due to suspicious activity. £1400. Told him I was logged into my Amazon account and there was no suspicious order. I asked him if he was sure he was from Amazon and not Orinoco, Congo, Limpopo or some other river. But he didn’t seem to see the joke.

This is an affiliated number belonging to a set redirected through a Company called Nexbridge Communications Ltd. They re a bunch of prats with nothing better to do than flog any old crap for clients and their call redirection service will show different locations where the call came from. They need debt advice themselves as their Directors are in debt up to their eyeballs! Have not answered, googled this and found it is Scottish Power which I am leaving. Now they know how I felt when I tried to get back money from them a couple of years back and could not get through to them

This number is connected to a computer security con – ignore and block. The Company name they give is non-existent – Web Security Global. These callers are persistent, aggressive and thoroughly unpleasant. They have been reported to Trading Standards and to the Police.
