Received automated call on 11 Nov 2016 at 8:59. Female voice with Indian accent said "I am ... calling from BT and it is about your broadband line". I said I knew she was not from BT and she hung up. This scam has been going on for several days. It appears to be a spoof number, you cannot call back.

As with everybody else, it came up as Redditch, when I said Hello the call ended, sick to death of all these phone calls, what is their point?

This was a phishing attempt - using robotic voice. They claimed to have been from the inland revenue. I have reported them to the Inland Revenue.

Athough called approx 3or 4 pr day for about 2 weeks now, they still ring. No idea who they are, so annoyed they continue to attempt to call. I did try to call the number to find out who it was, but received the message that the number had been blocked. Received another call today and saw a message (presumably my service provider whether I wanted to leave a message to the caller. NO ! I don t want to engage with them I just want the scum to stop harassing myself & others. Personally a 9 rating is too low =

my daughter answered this call ..She was told she d had a loan in 2007, and repaid it in 2011. (I don t know how she would have got a loan for £3000 at the age of 11, but obviously this company has better records than us. ) When she continued to talk over the caller, telling him to take us off his list, he told her to go forth and multiply and hung up....proof of a scam

Had a call from an Indian chap asking to speak to a woman I ve never heard of so I indulged him to try and find out what he was calling for. He said they were a debt consolidation company so I asked who was financially backing them. He said he couldn t tell me so I advised him that the information should be public knowledge and available from Companies House. This is FPC or Fredpay.com. They are a collection agency who normally act on behalf of Vodafone. They ask for your name , date of birth, post code etc. to confirm your identity. Simply dont give it to them and they cant continue the conversation !
