Calling from a huge sales company that make calls from data spreadsheets. Mine was for insurance renewal purposes which is not sue for renewal.

Called today said he was Steve from TalkTalk and my internet connection was about to be shut off for 15 days. He would send a new router and cable to avoid this. He was about to ask me to follow instructions to re-set router, etc when I asked for proof he was from TalkTalk. He hung up! Funny though, we are actually in talks with TalkTalk about a new router and seem to get scam calls right after we speak to them!

I have just received a call, a person, with an Asian accent, telling me that they were calling on behalf of my internet provider! (I received a similar call last week too, but told them I was having dinner). Apparently, they have noticed that my internet is not working to it s full potential. Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below.
