SCAM I got an automated female voice stating it was bank security. £300 was to pay Amazon and £1100 was by bank transfer. I got the exact same phonecall yesterday from another number. I was to press 1 to speak to someone if I hadn't made these transactions. I have been told by my bank that if anything like this was to happen the bank would notify me with the bank's name and a the name of whoever I was talking to as soon as I answered the phone. They would never phone with an automated message.

Guy introduce himself saying he was contacting me as i was on a list to receive a refund due to bank charges. He asked me lots of questions about who ive had loans from and who ive had credit cards with. I said im sorry this doesn t sound right to me...he got very irritated and told me to check the number it is a recognized BT number at a registered address. These calls are on behalf of Better Homes a Brighton based company that sell double glaze - a real bunch of cowboys!
Store recoveries. Constant calls, even if you agree a payment scheme they just keep chasing. Put it on blocked list.
They called and closed the call. I have tried the call back 8 times and there is a brief untintelligible message of which only "Sir" can be understood and the answering machine starts... I think must be those useless piece of shit of "Perfect Benefit" but I hope I am wrong...

Have never given out my number to anyone I don t know but since using comparison websites for home insurance these calls are coming several times I day. Different companies but keep having to block them.

SCAM - automated message from Amazon claiming that someone has placed an order for an Iphone on my account and to press numbers to cancel or to be put through to someone. Amazon doesn't have my mobile number.
I had a marketing call from this number trying to sell me a new boiler. When I asked for their website the lady who introduced herself as Grace hung up.
Number has called 4 times in a week, they always hang up. Lots of noise in the background so clearly a call centre with nothing useful for me. I see this as harassment calling as they never bother to talk !
They told me that I could be due for a refund. They wanted to know all the services I have with my bank. Warning: Don't give them your details.
