I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. Didn t catch the company name but caller was trying to sell solar panels.

Attempted phishing scam via fake Gumtree website. Attempts to lure you to this site and then steal your details.

As usual, my answering machine takes any call, and automatically dials 0171 to record the caller s number if available. Repeated calls from 0139852762 with no message left. I don t care, I don t have to answer, and it must cost whoever it is!

I got this call as well and when he asked for date of birth I declined to join up with him

keep receiving calls from 0207 nos. they always miss me, silent I guess. Today a voicemail but lots of chattering in background - no message left just pointless and annoying. Same no. log 13/2 1827pm, 10/2 1929, 6/2 1246 + others.

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.
