I have witnessed family getting harassment calls, invoices and debt collection threats from these stupid people. The magazine they claim to place ads in, is also aware of their scam and of course has no arrangement with them whatsoever. Called saying I had had an accident that wasn t my fault.

From background noise it was a call centre, but after a short time they hung up without speaking.

Whoever gave them phone numbers are as guilty as them.

I received a call this afternoon from David from London Police Station informing me that fraudulent transcations are taking place in my account (approx. ?3100) and it would be best for me to relocate my funds into safe keepings. Does this sound strange to anyone else? I said righto mate, "I expect that you will take care of it for me then." - Not a believer.

I am fed up of these people calling me even though I have asked them to remove my number. I used their service once a long time back and I m getting calls many months later. I ve now got them blocked.

Yet another spoofed mobile number call to my landline. They always have my name. How do they get my details. Invariably Asian sounding callers, beginning to suspect a problem at BT!

Caller asked for Mrs Mitchell, not my name, and then hung up when I said I was not her.
