This is a new, and weird, one for me. Called my landline but disconnected when I picked up (now they know this is a live number,,,damn!!). No message left so I'll never know if I have been left millions of pounds from an unknown benefactor who needs me to handle his money, for a small fee, to help them evade paying local taxes or being claimed by a fictional Government department.

I got a call from a lady what sounded like an Australian accent, asking about a PPI claim with my bank. She was unable to identify any further information about me, other than the fact I am owed a refund back from my bank. Which she could not identify which bank owes me this money. Only know the number because I was randomly charged ?99.99 !! Which is the first random I ve ever encountered while Internet /phone shopping I did receive a random info booklet on holidays a few months / lots of weeks before anyway this number was attached to the payment from my account the only thing I can suggest is to report the company to whomever and to contact your bank stating that a fraudulent company has your card details if you do recieve a catalog from them. Didn t say what company it was just a PPI claims managment company claims that they bought details from a marketing database company. Missed-called my phone then only identified themselves when called back. Wouldn t trust any company that uses these sort of dodgy marketing tactics.
