This number is one of a group that has recently called me and appeared to be a scam of some sort. I answered and waited before speaking any, and after three seconds they hung up. Its apex debt collection. they buy debts left over by everyone else for about ?1. knowing they have no leg to stand on enforcing the debt. ignore their calls completely, do not try to call them back. if they send you a letter refer to forums like citizens advice and money saving expert. i worked there for a week until i realised what s what. spineless, toothless chancers.

Had a call about our washing machine warranty being out of date. He rang off when I asked a few questions about their company [difficult to hear what he said at this point] and how he came by his information. Usual garbage, but sounded British. This might be a follow up from a so-called survey I foolishly agreed to go through a few days ago - and during which I asked NOT to be contacted from, I assume, the people instigating it in the first place. This is the usual con merchant stuff we have to endure

The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up.
