Definitely a call center from background noise and when you call back the number goes straight back to that operater without company name total scam

The callers are NOT british and they are NOT calling from Cardiff Wales (even though thats the number showing on calls). They are trying to con UK residents, dangerous callers. Dont answer their calls.

I have already reported this number. It is the dialling code owned by mobile provider Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. I do not know the ID of the phone number 874428 other than what garbled message I've heard suggests it may be from India. I'm unable to make a connection but Hutchinson's have an Indian call centre; from a limited number of reviews it seems Hutchinson's don't have a very good reputation as a provider of services.

SPAM - Didn't answer as I never do unless I am expecting it (Doctor's or School). They left a voicemail, talking in a very different language. Didn't sound english or even Indian for that matter.

I think this is a spoof number as it is a not in service number and does not leave a message on answer machine. This number cannot be contacted.

Automated message supposedly to be from my bank about charges to my account, the first for £700. I hung up as sure it's a scam. My bank doesn't contact me this way, or in this manner. Double checked and all is fine. My bank has been very good so far at spotting fraudulent debits. This looked like a local number so it could appear legitimate. I expect there was a number to press to connect with scammer. Despicable people.

Recorded message that Amazon Prime membership has expired and demands £92 to renew. Never had Prime, so SCAM.

Indian woman called Jessie from Housing Disrepair Association. Told me I'd been reported as having damp in the home. Asked her what country she was calling from and what location which she wouldn't answer, she then wanted to know if I was a private or social tennant. SCAM Fraud Caller said they were from "banking credit control" and wanted my name and date of birth because he had seen fraudulent activity on my card. When I said I had 4 cards he again asked for my name and DOB so I made something up and he said he could definitely see £300 going to Amazon and £1100 as an International Money Transfer to China! I again asked him which of the 4 cards he was talking about and when he said VISA I told him I didn't have a VISA card and he put the phone down.

SCAM Said calling from my credit card, but no company name given, about unusual transactions this morning. Wanting me to press 1, 2 or 3 to speak to someone. Supposed to have spent £400 on Amazon and £200 on a western union transfer.

Fraud A scam - and a very convincing one too !! Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! Thankfully we realised in time and put a stop to it. They had enough information by then to make it dodgy!!!!
