A woman telling her name and then something inaudible (the line was bad). As soon as I asked "can you repeat? the line is... " she didn t even let me finish and told "thanks for confirming!". As I was saying "I didn t confirm anything..." she hung up. (Did she think I would call back?). So, scam, can t say if it was about car accidents, but don t call back!
SCAM Say they get your information from a 'data base' ringing to discuss tentant maintenance. I've never been in a council property and they refuse to give you information on where this information has come from and it must have been an error. Well if you're calling on behalf of somewhere that's never had my information you clearly haven't got it from them nor is it why you're calling. He even said what you think i'm trying to scam you. AVOID or just waste their time like i did

William, Pakistani, Wanted to refund me some ppi to an alias I use when security could be an issue, told him he was a scammer and he said I was wasting his time, I was ,I had him on the line for over ten minutes!! Alpine Services called me saying I had been involved in a motor accident, which of course I had not. Phishing. They are NOT CONNECTED in any way to Alpine Insurance Services Ltd of Hadleigh Essex, who have traded reputable for over 30 years and never made these type of nuisance calls.
This was a missed call, and when I rang them back it was from Accident Claim Experts , so I missed being told by someone that I d had a non-fault accident in the last three years. Is there no way to stop these cowboys?
