09.40 21-3-23 phone call from 01204363677 from the start female voice very distorted till near the end of short "conversation" fine of £90 was all I could make out and ring back on this number. I assumed it was a scam and terminated the call.

Picked up the call and got a pre-recorded message from an American sounding female voice informing me that I had placed an order with AMAZON for gift cards to the value of £700. The exact number was 01340 831714. After searching it here, I called the number back. It has a BT call screener on it. A Scottish sounding older lady picked up the phone. I told her my name and said I'd had a missed call from her number at 7:47am this morning (3-3-23). Her reply? "No, not me, no you haven't" and then she put the phone down. With a call that early in the morning, I thought my son had been in a car accident or something :-(. Very unhelpful and distressing. No idea what's been going

Purporting to be from “Bank Security”, regarding unauthorised transactions. Select option 1 if I authorised 2 high cost transactions, press 2 to speak to customer support, who spoke with a strong accent, asking me for personal details. I hung up.

SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). This scam is targeting disabled older people who may want an alarm.

Don't know who the person below checked with but the number belongs to Alex Fox. She works at the Doncaster branch. I went in to check in person after receiving a call to confirm. I've since had a review and she saved me a lot of money.
Keep getting calls, never leave a message when voicemail kicks in. Seems dodgy.
