Phone number rang, left answer phone to pick up as I did not recognise number, caller rang off
This number called me and when I answered, the voice from a foreign male person spoke. I advised that they had just called me but they said that had not done so. This was the second time I received a call like this from another number (07565 827573), within 10 minutes of each other. I believe this was a SPOOFING SCAM and advise anyone who receives anything like this to be on your guard and not give ANY personal information away ... not even your name.
07803278983 - Automated call telling me my internet service was about to be stopped if I didn't press a button on the phone. My internet provider states they do not make automated calls, so clearly a scam, and therefore dangerous. Didn't press any buttons. Hung up.

I advised the caller I was not interested and he continued to question me if I knew who they were/are, I said yes, he then proceeded to say ok, what is it we do then. Got annoyed, hung up

They are fishing for a personal injury claim! You will most likley get this call after making a car insurance claim. The trend seems to be associated with Equiry Red Star. Block the # as they do not have your full details just fishing for business! My general rule of thumb is if they do not leave a VM then they clearly have no business calling!
