Number pretends to be HMRC calling about tax fraud registered against my name. Automated call, threatens you with imminent arrest if you hang up or don't press 1. Once you press one, a very deep Asian sounding accent answers and asks you for your details. Which they should have since they claim to have opened a case against you. SCAM . . . . . starts with a text "Where are you? I'm waiting for you". If you reply you will be marked down as a 'responder' and active with replying to texts (or even worse, possibly phone calls). Simply ignore it and block the number.
This person contacted me on a withheld number pretending to be Halifax left me a message saying it was Halifax customer services and I d made a recent enquiry which I have not. left this number and a extention number of 15687137. There is no such number associated with Halifax customer services obviously after my bank details.

Got a call from this number I tried to explain we have terminally ill person in house and needed phone lines clear ( my father has cancer) they just laughed and put phone down. After calling a further 9 times in 3 hours I asked to speak to a manager who came to phone and proceeded to laugh through my explanation and put phone down. I then blocked the number so they rang a further 10 times from international withheld and either blasted sirens or just laughed down phone .

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Asked the caller for his name and name of the company he worked for. He just kept repeating my name, saying 1twas the same as his. I told him to remove my number from his list but he refused to do so saying it wasn t possible. I ve now blocked it.
SCAM- keeps calling me warning me of legal action for things i have not done. could be targetting me because of my brain injury and me being listed as a vulnerable person. they are being very unprofessional with phonecalls and are using a text to speech device instead of putting an actual human on the phone. they are clearly trying to get me to phone back and give them sensitive information regarding my finances. this number should be blocked by anyone that can do so
