Claimed to be a policeman when clearly on a call centre type area. First thing he said was "I'm a police man, what's your name" when I asked why he was calling and why he wanted my name he just repeated the "I'm a police man".

A lady called Samantha called my friend, they ask card numbers and although they should have customer details they still ask, what they do is not "illegal" in the sense of law they are simply saying that they are providing a service which they sell over the phone, however i would suggest that no one ever gives any bank details over the phone or indeed to anyone in the street, they can and will be misused.

SCAM / SPAM Phoned about a clam of an accident that I never had

Scam caller, told me they were ringing about my recent car accident that wasn’t my fault, when told I haven’t had one, just continued with ‘when was it’ told her to go and get a proper job!
Fraud - called from a field near the River Calder off the A59 saying a stop had been put on my tax code due to criminal activity and to press 1 to talk with an officer (pre recorded message)
