SCAM. Recorded message claiming HMRC tax fraud case.
Just had a call on this number 0208 234 1142 from people claiming they are from Virgin media calling because my router has been sending them error messages and they want to fix it. They wanted me to run some sort of file. I called Virgin and they are not aware of thios and my router is fine according to there checkes. Treat will extreme caution!!!

2nd time these guys have tried to con me saying I have booked advertising with them (using another publications name to engage conversation). And then they have the cheek to put the phone down on me when I question them.

Called saying they were from BT technical, our IP address being used internationally. Wanted me to go to computer so rang off then11
SCAM. Recorded message. Told me the bank had a couple of dodgy transactions on my card; Amazon £300. Hung up so didn’t hear the 2nd one.
