"This is a genuine number. I was suspicious and rung Lloyds Fraud line using another number and was told is was bogus because it was not in their list of numbers. However, he contacted the credit card people using another number and came back to me stating it was real. He then put me through and they confirmed my card had been used twice to purchase goods in the USA. They cancelled my card and sent a new one."

"This seems legit. I got a voicemail telling me to call this number. I didn't trust it, so called their main number and they asked for the 3 digit pin that was mentioned on the voicemail. All recognised etc. But if you're worried about it, then just call their main number found here: https://www.lloydsbank.com/contact-us.asp"

"Three phone calls in two days. First two saying there was irregular action on my credit card, but with the last four digits of a card I do not own. The third asking me to call back with a code number. Clearly all bogus."

"Caller left a message saying they were calling from LLoyds to tell me someone was using my credit card. It was a Scam as confirmed by LLoyds. The message left sounded very convincing, using the same recording as LLoyds at the beginning, but they didn't have the full name, only the Surname. Also they gave choices of years for my birthday f or me to confirm the correct one......none were even close. Don't be fooled. Call LLoyds directly to check before you return this call."

"Lloyds Bank credit card fraud. When you phone the number they give it was the same message as they give out when you answer! And it cuts you off directly after you key in date of birth! I did it twice to ensure I had done it right. I know it's genuine as I tried to use my card for an O2 top up and because I couldn't use the characters on my phone for O2 to type in my postcode, only the numbers, it declined my card and purchase. Tried a few times and same again so it's obviously set off the fraudulent card u"

"Message left saying they were Lloyds Bank and my account had been compromised. I don't have an account at Lloyds but rang back. An automated voice wanted my phone number so that they could bring up my account and find out "why they I had been contacted". Left hanging on whilst they tried to put me through to someone. They were very busy and waited and waited...... MUST BE A SCAM."
