Number actually shows as 0019798234079 on caller ID but this site seems to drop the 00. This is a Windows security scam where they tell you that you have viruses on your PC and they can fix them for you. Didn t go along with it today and said to them that I suppose they were going to show me errors and warnings in my Windows event logs and they just hung up without any further comment. Hopefully they will remove me from their database if they realise I m too Windows savvy to ever fall for this.

This is Scottish Power and they don t leave messages. They have been trying to contact me since I told them I was leaving to go to another provider. When you try to call the number back the phone is always engaged. I must get 3 or 4 calls each day but don t answer as I have number recognition and don t want to speak to them. They can call for ever but they are wasting their time.

I think they last called me around 2 years ago and are always very respectful. In a roundabout way, they are trying to sell a service, but at no point pressured me into buying anything. I am currently getting 4-5 calls a day from this number and they are driving me insane! They are calling really early in the mornings and at weekend too. I m disabled so don t get up and about too early and these "people" regularly wake me up or sometimes I can t get to phone quick enough so they ring off then I ve just got sat down again or back into bed and they ring again. I ve told them I m not a homeowner or eligible for the grant but they just keep on ringing.........
