HMRC called twice on 1/2/18 I was aware of it being a scam as it was reported in the Sun Newspaper and on the news that day. I tried ring the fraud squad but after a lenghtly wait on the phone was unable to contact anyone.I had been scammed 6 months earlier by same people when I was in a bad place and so vunerable.
A Chinese chap told me my computer was infected with a virus and offered to "help". I said "Thanks very much, can I tape the call so I am clear what I have to do....

TV insurance scam. Seems to be cold calling everyone. We have no TV insurance, but started by saying "It shows you are paying £7 for TV insurance", when I replied "What a load of rubbish" they hung up. Reading the other comments it looks like everyone should do the same.
