Probably scam. I’ve been bombarded every day for a couple of months from UK numbers with different attempt at fraud. Nowadays I just block the numbers, but they keep valling from new numbers every day. Persistant buggers.
Said they were from customer care but the line was very crackly and couldnt hear what else, she was English which surprised me.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. No transaction has been attempted. This is a scam call.

Scam mobile number. After i made a flight booking through OPODO i immediately get a txt message saying my credit card was declined and i was to answer YES to stop future declined. Unfortunately i did reply YES. So this could mean they will use my number for future scam attempts. I already checked my phone for any malware (avg scan). Anything else i should do? To all those trying to trace there package from Aliexpress by ringing this number they display on there tracking, please do not. The best way to resolve your problem is to just wait, most packages arrive they are never just kept at a Royal mail office. If your package does not arrive in the time frame set out by Aliexpress, this can be seen on there site in your orders, this is time to open dispute upload image of tracking get full refund.
SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! Her tone changed and she said “you do have sky the way you know is to look at your dish outside” Asked me to confirm details and I just felt suspicious. Automated call, when I answered it simply said 'Goodbye' and rang off. I'm guessing that no call centre operative was available at that moment to handle a call made by automated software. Or it noticed a TPS opt out.
Called me and left no message. Called them twice, within 40 minutes of their call. Both my callbacks failed (no one answers). And my phone history says: 'Cancelled Call'!
My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.
