I received the number 01223933956 this morning. Claimed to be a Sean with a very heavy Indian sub-continent accent, from BT Outreach claiming there were problems with my internet. I engaged with him, to spin him along so he would have less time with more vulnerable people but when he realised what I was doing he became very abusive.

Automated Scam. Tries to kid you they are some sort of fraud squad, that amounts are being taken out of your accounts and want you to assist them in the matter. Imbeciles but potentially dangerous imbeciles.

Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! Thankfully we realised in time and put a stop to it. They had enough information by then to make it dodgy!!!!

Fraud Called pretending to be instructed by an United Kingdom Insurance Limited. He spoke very convincingly and was stubborn that the call was "not out of the blue" that he was instructed to call me because they had to transfer funds to me in relation to driving accident that was not my fault. My wife answered the phone, and an apparently recorded message said that there was a suspicious transaction involving a £300 bill from Amazon which had not been paid. Then she was asked to press some number at which point she ended the call. I found the callers number by using 1471. The call appears to be a scam.

I received calls from people saying your number is showing up on their caller ID, it's likely that that my number has been spoofed by scammers. I don't have a business or anything like that. I do appologise for any inconvinance caused but until they get bored by this phone number (07477167441) is nothing I can do. Thank you for yor understanding.

Another scammer pretending to be from Microsoft & Windows. Said a problem with my computer so said I use Android tablet and he wanted me to turn it on. Told him he was a ******* scammer and he promptly ended call!

SCAM He goes like: "Sir, I'm calling from your sim card provider" offering some discount on god knows what. Had to ask him 3 times which company is he calling from, to then try his luck with O2. It became very apparent that it's a scam
