Call center: Indian sounding lady called me and asked for me by name. I asked why she was calling & she said again "Are you Mrs ****?" . I asked who wanted to know. She didn't say. Told her to hurry up as I was about to go out and she hung up. Other people have said this number is someone claiming to be from Domestic & General about an expired washing machine warranty.

Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! PRETEND TO BE FROM YOUR ENERGY COMPANY WITH YOUR ADDRESS AND NAME!! Then say they need a number from your INVOICE!! THIS IS TO SWITCH YOU OVER AND TAKE YOUR MONEY!! I asked to speak to management and the name of manager made up a random name. I said that person does not work in your department- they got angry told me I was being cut off and hung up!!
