I ve put Trustworthy to indicate that it is indeed the company that are calling. Actually it isn t. These are simply self employed people who get a commission if they manage to get any money out of you out agree to anything. There are several things you can do: First of all don t be intimidated. As for the others, claimed to be from HMRC and said I would be arrested shortly if I didn t press 1. Obvious scam despite the well-spoken English middle class accent recorded in the message played.
Having established that this is an Ipswich number and not knowing anyone with that number or who is on our contacts list I ignored it assuming that this was another cold caller....

Despite being ex-directory and TPS registered, these cold-callers had my name but were after more information, before they could tell me if I qualify for whatever they are peddling - spray foam insulation this time. Ended the call and reported them to TPS - I recommend anyone to do the same.

Received numerous calls from this number. Several times I ignored the call thinking it was a telemarketer. Several times I answered to get silence or a disconnect. Eventually they got through. this is the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow register. they claim they are contacting all the people on the register to ask them to contribute £10 per month.
