Supposedly not trying to sell me something but wanted to know if I still had fibreglass loft insulation. I refused to tell him until he explained why he wanted to know - if as he said, he wasn t trying to sell me something. Needless to say, he hung up!
These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. Received a call from 0203 986 8243, Asian gentleman(very poor English) claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. Kept going on about special deals, he was obviously going off his own script because it made no sense. At the end of HIS conversation because all I said was .... not interested he finished off with is that a good deal for you.

I haven't answered the phone to this number because I don't know who it might be, probably a cold caller again. These guys are a waste of space!, I have an answering machine to monitor my calls. I never pick up unless I hear a voice of someone who is a legitimate caller or a friend I want to speak to.
