01229836958 person wanted me to get on line to sort a fault on broadband. I said that I would have to talk to my boss DI Jones as this was a police station. Oddly, he stopped talking and rang off.
This number called, it was an automated voice telling me that my BT internet was being disconnected and to press menu buttons to access operative.
Stating it was from HMRC explaining that I had underpaid taxes for this year and to follow touch input on phone….Scammers

I didn't catch the company name but it was something to do with home cover - the man asked if I was me, so I said no but could I help. He said he was ringing about the cover on the washing machine at (gave my address), he said it had expired and he just wanted to check if the machine was still in good working order. SPAM . Has called my private number (that only 2 friends have) twice just a minute ago. My phone flashed it up as being potential fraud. I didn't answer. I would suggest to avoid this caller.
This number rang me but cut off after only 3 rings and before I could answer. I suspect it was an attempt to have me ring it back at considerable expense?.

Called our TPS registered line. Started talking before we had even managed to say "Good afternoon". Demanded to speak to "The owner of the business". When asked who we were speaking to said "UK Distributors". Were told we did not wish to speak to them and we hung up. They immediately rang back demanding to know why we had hung up on them; told them to get stuffed.
