When I answered there was a bit of noise on the other end, then suddenly the person muted the call. I need the call too and after a few more seconds hung up. Feels like a scan to me.

Caller had very poor English. Saying he was from Virgin Media. The caller delayed speaking, then in a very odd voice said he was calling from virgin media. Not trust worthy very unprofessional

Do not trust this person they will scam you out of thousands of pounds block this number immediately
Fraud. They phone you just after *they* request access to your account via your phone company's website by using the "Forgotten Password" link, so that the real phone company will send an OTC (one-time-code) to your mobile for verification. These criminals then call you saying they're from your phone company and ask for the OTC that you've just received. If you give it to them, they can then enter the OTC on your real phone company's website and gain access to your account, change your
