SCAM call localised from Russia, definitely sketchy, never answered.

Most probably a scam call purportedly from inland revenue.

SCAM Cold call from John of the equity team claimed changes to equity release scheme, wanted to ask me questions to see if I was eligible 'phishing' said I wasn't interested, he said I didn't need to be at this stage I then said he had cold called and it was illegal he said that wasn't right. I repeated he was a cold caller and I wasn't interested. He remained polite but realised he was getting nowhere. I withheld my number and rang 01970607568, it rang, then automated voice, number not accepting calls.

Telephone call claiming to be form the Visa Mastercard security line allowing me to select option 1 to cancel 2 attempted transactions this morning. One for £600 and the other for £900. Scam.

Have received 3 calls recently, each one is a prerecorded American voice telling me I'm being investigated for DHSS fraud. They inform me that paperwork has been sent to me which I have returned to them unanswered and I must answer the phone call they have made, which I have not done. Now this is a total scam. SCAM Recorded voice saying that my bank account had been requested to pay Amazon £700 and some other organisation £2000!! Press 1 to authorise, and 2 to speak to a customer representative. I declined both options and checked my account online to find, surprise, surprise, there were no such transactions.

I rang this number and an automated voice informed me that it was not in service .Obviously a scam so I blocked it to avoid further contact

Claimed it was EE, but I suspect this is most likely a SCAM call centre due to the line of questioning and the fact they simply hung up on me when they weren't getting the response they were looking for.

Received call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be from "bank fraud department" stating that large amount of money has been taken from my account. I have since checked the number and it appears to be a legitimate local school number. However, the received scam call was recorded on my phone as being from this number.

Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Very persistent - when I told them I didn't know my postcode they called back the following night. Even provided me with a (mobile!) number I could call to check that they really were Vodafone.

SCAM call regarding refund for overpaid appliance insurance. Knew my full name. Call came in on landline.

The caller was warning me of dangerous transactions on my card. Amazon and overseas transactions. My bankers would not deal with this sort of matter by phoning my home phone number.
