This number never stops ringing...so today I decided to go along with it...He said he was from the telephone preference service and from tomorrow i wouldnt receive any more unsolicited calls after I had confirmed a few details..so at this point I told him to block his own number as I knew he was a scammer and to not ring again

I got a text that showed as Virgin Media about a non existent delivery by Yodel of a non existent order? There was no contact or tracking but tried to reply (text failed and mobile dropped call). I did a search and got the thread about Virgin and Yodel. Total waste of my time as we have not been a Virgin customer for st least 10 years!!! I was worried someone was ordering stuff using my (old) credentials!!!
