I've had a text on my mobile, purporting to be from Iceland (Frozen food shop) saying that my 'order' is being delivered between 11am and 1pm. but that they've had to make changes, and I should check my emails to see details. Obviously, there is NOTHING in my emails. I have NOT made an order. I do not shop online. Minutes later, I received another text from them, with a different delivery time, and this time, a phone number. I'm not calling the number. I've never had any scams on my mobile before.

This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. Bunch of scammers. They claim to be different debt collection companies, from different numbers. Been going on for years. You pick up, the automated call kicks in, leaving a message for someone who doesn t exist. In my case, they are always asking for someone called Mr Paul Roberts.
