Received a call from 01206700891 which I missed initially. Then I got a 2nd call the next day which I answered. There was no voice on the other side, just silence, and then it hung up 3 seconds later. Sounds like an automatic system checking for active telephone numbers. DON'T ANSWER this number.

07363953461 is a FAKE scam CLI being used by an offshore call centre. They call folks and pretend to be calling from BT, regarding error logs received from your internet connection. The idea is to ask you to download remote desktop software to gain access to your computer, then attempt to bamboozle you with made up technical nonsense whilst in the background they copy your files and internet settings in the hope that yo have stored online banking credentials.

Called my father who doesn't have a computer but the caller didn't believe him and became abusive. I received a call soon afterwards (adjacent numbers in phone book). I listened then pretended to follow instruction to switch on computer which was very slow! Then he gave me further instructions to follow and then asked me to tell him what I saw on the screen.
