Call from a welsh lady claiming I had been referred , despite not knowing my name and giving a former address. I said I’m not interested in saving on gas as we don’t have it, she then asked for me to confirm my details so she could check, I refused and asked if she was calling me a liar . This number calls on average once a day - to a business number. I press 9 as instructed to remove from database but nothing happens. As Robbiefan says if you press 5 to speak to someone they just put the phone down on you when they realise there is nothing in it for them.

This company, Ventrica, work for a variety of other companies. May be calling you about a customer service issue you have with one of those companies.

Cold caller trying to get us to change landline/broadband. Insisted on speaking to Director. Would not say who he was until pressed several times. Would not say what he was calling about until pressed. When I started to tell him the proper procedure, he hung up in mid-sentence.
