SCAM / SPAM Automated message claiming to be HMRC saying I have an outstanding fraud case against my name and I would shortly be arrested if I didn't press one. I pressed one and told a man with an South East Asian accent that HMRC HQ is in London, not Bradford which he obviously didn't like because he hung up.

Phoned today at12.15 pm. Fairly gruff voice. Purportedly from BT. Asked me to confirm that I had been in touch with BT this morning. As I had, I said yes. There was some hesitation and a lot of background noise. I asked what he wanted. He asked if contact was by phone or mail (I think). I replied that the contact was on the internet and he abruptly ended the call.

When I started my business 18 months ago I had a call from 118, regarding my free listing . I went with it initially, but ended up calling them to take it down, as salesmen wouldn t stop calling and I even had a few just turn up at the premises! I had NO legitimate business come through 118, they didn t even list the business details correctly. Buy Bt 8500 this phone has true call only numbers in your contact list ring your , phone. Since buying this phone I have had no, Zero rubbish calls. The phone lists the numbers that have tried to get through but if they are not in your contact list your phone won t ring. Brilliant. A well spent £40 or £49 for two handsets. This is not an advert it really works.

Telemarketing, very unfriendly, constant calling using different numbers after I have blocked the previous numbers. Claim to be a company called Beneficial. After being very clear about not wanting to be contacted by them and to take my number off my records they were very rude and said that they would not stop calling me in an aggressive tone.
