Immediate update - I got an almost immediate reply to my emails and they say that although this is a one-off £10 charge for a 12-month reminder service for which they make it clear there is a charge (hmmmm) they will process an immediate refund via the Post Office. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Do not call them back, whoever it is. Tell me why companies still use payed lines for telemarketing (some other reason than scam?) Did someone answer any number of this range?

A guy called Paddy rang asking for me by name saying I could get compensation for being ill on a all inclusive holiday,this was quite plausible as I was ill on holiday he went on to say they needed my nat insurance number and for me to email them a photo of my self so they could proceed with my claim, as if I would give that sort of info over phone, total scam
