I ve had 2 calls from a person with an asian accent claiming to be from "national accident department" which is dodgy. He was "guessing" I had been involved in a car accident. I tried to quiz him knowing this was a scam of some sort. When I pressed him on the details of any accident,he bluffed as he knew I was asking too many questions. The only real info I got was he was in Birmingham, all other information I got was just fiction. The clue to the call is upon picking up the receiver there is a 5 second

SCAM / SPAM HMRC call. Dont react and just hang up. Stating there is a fraud case against you. Threatening if you don't press 1 they have you arrested. So just hang up and block number.
SPAM blocked, not in contacts list. Someone just saying Hi
automated call that was quiet. It said goodbye after a few seconds .
Fraud / Scam - Male with an Indian accent calling about an unpaid BT bill - scam caller. We rang BT and are up to date with payments. Sounded very convincing, but luckily our receptionist was saavy enough to delay the caller until we had checked with BT and when he rang back we refused to give any information, reported to Ofcomm and blocked the number.
