They called, I called back it didn't connect, I tried again and it beeps as if the number is overseas.

Been called alt least twice a day by this number...it s a debt/loan agency...I personally have never had any dealings with this, or any other agency, so have fostered my mobile with the TPS and added the number to my spam application on the phone. Getting bored of these types of calls. I add them to my mobile phone contacts as PPI Call - Ignore, Marketing Call - Ignore and have accumulated 10 x Marketing Calls and 11 x PPI Calls in the last 12 months. There has to be a way of blocking these people from ringing you. What ever happened to ex directory?

Rang me nearly 30 times over the course of 3 mornings at 10-15 minute intervals. When I eventually got sick of it and answered it turns out it was a dentist, live caller on the other end, didn t wait to hear what he wanted before telling him not to call again. Seems to have worked.

Pakastani/Asian woman wanted to speak to my boss. I said he wasn t in - was there anything I could help with - who was she& where was she calling from? She put phone down. I called back & spoke to another Asian/Pakistani woman said I had just spoken to a very rude woman who put phone down when I asked questions. She then shouted Hey Hey Hey and then put phone down.

Supposed job offer, but refused to provide details citing "confidentiality". Knew some public information about me (probably from LinkedIn) and immediately wanted confirmation of my work history and a copy of my CV. Very suspicious.

Said calling about an RTA. When i said I don t drive they asked if it was someone else in the house. This follows damage to the property but not by a known driver. Is the insurer HOmeprotect passing on details?

I usually don t answer numbers I don t know (as I get a lot), but I felt like answering this time. A bloke with a northern accent asked for Mr Chin . I told him I don t know that name (as it s not my name and I know no one of that name.) The man on the phone then asked: "Are you hiding him?"
