Automated call on my mobile from 'Visa Security' about a strange transaction on my Visa card. I assume another scam attempt using a cloned number.

Apparently it s carphone warehouse but as soon as I answered they hung up and didn t call back
Claims that I am owed money from the banks, apparently I'm on a 'secured database' of people who are owed money!! Scam artists!

CARE - Scam number - automated call purporting to be from Inland Revenue - threatening cancellation of National Insurance Number due to apparent illegal activity - financial threats got stronger during the call if no action taken - instructed to press "1" to be connected to "customer service officer". Presumably, if pressed "1", would then be coerced to divulge bank or card details or other information - CARE.
