Spammed me with calls over a few days that I kept missing. When I picked up, they claimed to be from Steadman-Chase in London. I didn't really believe them and they tried to convince me to invest, along with trying to throw terms at me to sound smart. When they finally accepted that I wasn't interested, they abruptly hung up. Block this number!

SCAM call from 020 8612 0669 said they were calling from Amazon, apparently a fake account had been set up in my name and purchased an Amazon gift card value £44 address given as Exhibition Street London - kept asking if i had internet at home etc etc and kept telling her I use pc's at local library - she put phone down on me

Seem like a scam. Phoned me claiming to be offering a car warranty offer but then when I was put through to the broker he started asking some basic questions that just sounded suspicious. He knew my reg but the didn't know the make and model and didn't know the existing warranty etc. In the end I just said I didn't like the tone of the call and hung up. Either phishing or a scam.
