Called by this number yesterday. They left a recorded message, an advert for claiming mis-sold PPI. No idea who the company is, but 01257 is a number in Coppull, Lancashire.

I once answered the phone and asked who is it and they automatically cut off. I find it strange how this is becoming the norm all of a sudden. This number is used by Boku, a phone collection service (based in San Fransico, USA - with supposedly Europe wide offices) that collects "subscriptions" from, normally inadvertantly, "subscribing" to on-line adverts, messages and web sites.
