This is from a company called 'Energy Search'- it's a scam to switch you onto their tariff without your informed consent. They claim that your contract has expired, and that you're being charged 40% more. I believe that they got my details from Facebook (seems legit), because they referred to me by my shop name (I don't have an official premises at the moment, I have market stalls). When I asked them if this was where they got my number from, both times they hung up. Lovely.

When I picked up the phone I was told I was being called as I had had an accident. It wouldn't have been me anyway as I had answered my wife's mobile phone !! I asked who the company who the company was... I had an answer mumbled back at me... Then asked whether I would like to discuss the accident - I asked who had asked that the company call me.... and the caller hung up ! Technique - asked them a question, every time they ask you one !!
