Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.

This was one of a series of 6 calls starting on Friday 5th that stated they were (or were probably connected )from microsoft ! Different numbers used for each call; no messages left on answerphone. 01726852670 called at 10.31 stating they were bank security. I know its a scam. As I keep getting these calls saying I have spent £300 on amazon and over £1000 on an international transaction.It is a local number for me. These people need stopping .
This call number has been hijacked by Amazon to warn that Windows has been corrupted.
SCAM tried asking for my passcode saying they were NatWest bank and was I trying to send someone £600 into a western union account I said no and they started asking for my passcode I no the bank don’t ask for this information so I hung up and reported it to my bank and they confirmed it’s a scam no money was taken
