Reassured limited part of Comparison company for insurances that use compare the market.
This call came out of the blue, saying they were from southern water who are doing surveys in m y area and wanted to come to my home to help me reduce my water bill by adding water devices. I hung up blocked number and informed Southern water.
Lady with asian accent cold called and had details of address. Wanted to sell us boiler cover and that we were paying too much with our previous provider, could not provide us with details of who we currently have boiler cover (we dont have any which gives the game away) although played along for a while for a laugh. Claimed the company was in Crawley and called Utility Care. She hung up. Searches on internet cannot find this company, most likely a scam to get bank details.

I told her 'the managing director would not be interested in her call but thank you' and then put the phone down as we do not take cold calls. Athough called approx 3or 4 pr day for about 2 weeks now, they still ring. No idea who they are, so annoyed they continue to attempt to call. I did try to call the number to find out who it was, but received the message that the number had been blocked. Received another call today and saw a message (presumably my service provider whether I wanted to leave a message to the caller. NO ! I don t want to engage with them I just want the scum to stop harassing myself & others. Personally a 9 rating is too low =

Scammer - claiming to be from BT internet. Was requesting that I give remote access to my laptop by running some remote viewer program. My internet connection is not supplied by BT so I strung them along as long as possible leaving them hanging on whilst I did other jobs - if they are wasting time with me they are having less time to scam others.
This debt collection agency uses auto diallers to harass people. My advice, when you see the number displayed, is either divert it answer phone - they will not leave a message, or accept the call but don t speak and immediately hang up, that way they pay for the call but get absolutely nowhere.
