This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.

SCAM I was phoned by this number today. It was a crackly line and the woman said she it was a bank call telling me that there were 2 suspicious payments from my bank account today. One for £300 and one for £3000. There were nos to press to agree to the payments or a number to speak to someone. I ended the call and then redialled the number registered, but it said that it was an incorrect number.
When I connected, a male voice said goodbye, & the call disconnected. I have blocked this number.

This is either a scam or someone trying to sell something. When type the number in on google, it comes up with a man named Jake Stacey. SCAM supposedly from the Bank - 2 suspected transactions one from Amazon for £300 and another from for £1100 International Bank money transfer - if you didn’t authorise press 1 to speak to someone - didn’t- now blocked.
Allegedly from Virgin Media calling at 07:45hrs with female call centre voice after delayed pickup. Clearly scam as they put the phone down after we asked (politely) if they knew what time it was in the morning.....
