Recorded message saying my BT internet would be cut off, I had options to speak to them by pressing 1 or, if I wanted it cut off, press 2. I hung up and dialled 1471 and the service told me it was a call from this number. I don't know what the scam is.

Seems to be the same call centre as 07722407332, 07722407970 - all the same range 077224079xx. I have been using the ShouldIAnswer mobile application from these pages, works fine, can stop such calls and also a range of numbers (very usefull for bocking call centres). No problems.
Calling From EE Upgrades. They relayed information to me that I sent them. It was not a 'scam' call in my case as I had initiated contact.
