We received a call from this number. The caller stated that he wants to discuss my husband’s current life insurance policy. My husband has no life insurance policy therefore I suspect they are not genuine callers. Beware of rouge callers who want to get info about your account and take your hard earned cash. SCAM Phone flagged as fraud when it started ringing.
This was a call about life insurance, and could save £1000 of the policy. They couldn't tell me who my policy was with, or the policy number and had the incorrect post code, so I played along with them, requesting that they give me those details first. They then changed their story and said it was a survey and asked again who my policy was with, and so it went on and on and they gave up. Number blocked from future calls, but that won't work as they have dozens of numbers. Always a woman of foreign descent.

Person claiming to be from Amazon, saying that an iPhone has been ordered on my account. This is a scam. DO NOT give them any details. Whatever answer you give, they will send you a code to either confirm the purchase or cancel the order. DO NOT click on this code. They are trying to access your Amazon account remotely.

I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

Distinctly foreign woman claiming to be from HMRC. I hung up before the spiel started.
