They said they were from Amazon and I had a £900 transaction taken from my account he asked me to follow his instructions ( I did know it was a scam) I told him ok he said to put him on loud speaker and he was going to give me a 9 digit code to enter into my phone, I asked him if he could call me back in 10 minutes when my daughter is home as she works for the police he suddenly hung up. I have passed the phone number on to Amazon but I’m worried about the people that they do trap please don’t give any one

I didnt answer because I was in bed and it was 9.30am saturday morning. Unrecognised number from a mobile phone. Rude awakening! If its important they will leave a message. Might have just dialled the wrong number but my spidey sense says it's a scammer. I mean random mobile number.... at this hour... not welcome!

BASC British Association Shooting & Conservation Genuine company, child-called this morning, i wasn't sure if they were looking for donations or trying to sell memberships, as i interrupted the caller very quickly when i realised it wasn't the call that i was waiting for. A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. Sales call or scam? Supposedly a restaurant but 'James' said he was from Vodafone and was offering me some kind of deal on a new iphone. Call centre noise in background and he had such a strong accent I couldn't really understand him.
